New Delhi, July 24, 2026 — Rahi Publication in association with Bluray Media proudly announces the launch of its anthology "Her Story – Her Power," a compelling collection celebrating the journeys, struggles, and achievements of women from academia, government, media, entrepreneurship, social work, and the arts. The launch event was held at the C.D. Deshmukh Auditorium, India International Centre, New Delhi, bringing together distinguished guests, contributors, and well-wishers for an evening dedicated to honouring women's resilience and empowerment.

Distinguished Guests Grace the Occasion

The event was graced by several eminent personalities from diverse fields, whose words added depth and meaning to the celebration.

Dr Sandeep Marwah, Chancellor, AAFT University of Media and Arts, reflected on two things truly important in life — one's thinking and one's feelings — a thought that resonated deeply with the audience. He spoke movingly of having dedicated his life to three women: his mother, sister, and wife, and concluded his address with the powerful message that "women are the wealth of the nation."

Mr K.G. Suresh, Director, India Habitat Centre, shared a moving anecdote from his early days about a young girl who was determined to study against all odds, describing how deeply her resolve had inspired him.

Dr Rakhi Anand Aggarwal, Founder, Sakhi Welfare Foundation; gynaecologist and social activist, lauded the remarkable work being done through the Sakhi Welfare Foundation, calling it truly commendable.

Dr Vinod K. Verma, President, Group Corporate Affairs & Head Regulatory Affairs, Hindalco (Aditya Birla Group), extended his appreciation to Rahi Publication for bringing this meaningful anthology to life, offering words of encouragement for the initiative.

Poonam Kalra, M<otivational Speaker & Author, spoke about the importance of providing free counselling support to women, noting that such selfless service deserves sincere appreciation.

Rupinder Pannu Brar, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, Government of India (IRS, 1990 batch), shared her personal journey, emphasizing that "His Story, His Power" is the very perspective that leads women to succeed in life — a reflection on how a woman's own story becomes the power behind her success.

Elena Barman, President, Indian Association of Russian Compatriots, shared her own story and offered a thought-provoking perspective: that behind every successful woman is herself.

Sunita Godara, 1992 Asian Marathon Champion, Founder Trustee, Health Fitness Trust), was celebrated for her extraordinary contribution to women's empowerment — having provided vocational training to over 150 girls and self-defence training to more than 17,000 girls across the region.

Dr Manoj Kumar, Director General, LINAC / National Cooperative Development Corporation (NCDC), shared an insightful thought that resonated throughout the evening: that a nation truly grows when a woman grows in her own life.
