New Delhi, May 4, 2025 — The much-awaited launch of Echoes of the Heart, a bilingual collection of short stories by Dr. Neeraja Jha Upadhyay, was held at the Civil Services Officers’ Institute (CSOI), Chanakyapuri. The event drew a gathering of literary admirers and was marked by the presence of esteemed guests and speakers.
The event was graced by celebrated literary figures including Prem Bhardwaj, Savita Jha, Shailendra Shail, and Sushil Bharti, who shared their reflections on the book and praised Dr. Upadhyay’s literary craft.
Dr. Neeraja Jha Upadhyay’s Echoes of the Heart is a rare bilingual offering—featuring short stories and poems in both English and Hindi. Through poignant storytelling and poetic prose, the book bridges linguistic and emotional landscapes, making it accessible and moving for a wide readership.
Noted writer Prem Bhardwaj lauded the unique bilingual format and expressed particular appreciation for the Smriti Patal Se series and The Return of the Native, describing them as deeply moving and brilliantly penned.
Renowned poet and critic Shailendra Shail praised the literary depth of the book and shared his admiration for the poem The Ultimate, calling it “a lyrical expression of spiritual introspection.”
Sushil Bharti, Managing Director of Rahi Publication, expressed his honour in publishing the book and commended Dr. Upadhyay’s exceptional ability to write seamlessly in Hindi and English.
